Perfect Steak Event with Thermapen and Fiona Burrell
Cooking the perfect steak is a skill that every cook should have – so we launched another ‘Is It Cooked?’ event at the wonderful Edinburgh New Town Cookery School in January. We invited Journalists, food writers and bloggers to attend a ‘How To Cook The Perfect Steak’ workshop where the owner of ENTCS and chef Fiona Burrell hosted. Joining Fiona were representatives from Scotch Beef who graciously provided all our chefs with their steaks, Barneys Beer and Edinburgh Beer Factory – showing our guests how to pair the perfect beer with their choice of steak.
Despite the snow and icy conditions we had a fantastic turnout, an excellent evening and plenty of good food! Today we are sharing both a fantastic video of the workshop and a few pictures!
